Ankaret was one of 66 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Lundaspelen Handball 2018. They participated with 24 teams in 16 out of Lundaspelen Handballs all 22 categories. The team in Boys 10 made it to the the Final in Playoff A, but lost it against FIF Håndbold 1 by 7-16.
In addition to this, Ankaret have participated in Lundaspelen Handball before. During Lundaspelen Handball 2017, Ankaret had 24 teams playing in 15 out of Lundaspelen Handballs all 22 categories. The team in Girls 12 made it to the the Final in Playoff A, but lost it against FIF by 8-11. Ankaret comes from Bjärred which lies approximately 9 km from Lund, where Lundaspelen Handball takes place. The area around Bjärred does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Lundaspelen Handball 2018 (Among others: Rudersdal Håndbold, Ljunghusens handbollsklubb, LöddeVikings HK, Ajax København, IFK Malmö, LUGI HF, Ljunhusens HK, Staffanstorps HK, Eslövs IK and Eslövs HF).
