In addition to the four Sävehof teams, 14 other teams played in Girls 9. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Eslövs IK, Kävlinge HK 2, LUGI HF 2, IFK Malmö 2 and LVHK.

IK Sävehof 1 made it to Playoff C after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against LUGI HF 2 with 8-11. Thereby IK Sävehof 1 finished second in G9 Playoff C during Lundaspelen Handball 2018.
