In addition to the four Sävehof teams, 47 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 4 could be found in Group 4 together with TMS Ringsted 1, LUGI HF 3, Oberursel and Staffanstorps HK.
IK Sävehof 4 continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Handbalschool Brabant 2 with 15-16. In the Final, FIF Håndbold 1 won over Eslövs IK and became the winner of Playoff A in Girls 12. IK Sävehof also participated in Girls 11 during Lundaspelen Handball 2017.
